In the Name of God Amen
the fifth day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand and seven hundred and four I Anthony Rimell of the parish of Corsly in the county of Wiltshire Husbandman being sick of body but perfect of memory considering the certainty of death and the uncertainty of life I do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament as followeth that is to say first and principally I commend my Soul into the hands of God that gave it and for my body I commend it to the earth to be buryed according to the discretion of my executors nothing doubting but at the generall Resurrection I shall recognise the same again by the mighty power of God. And as for my worldly estate as it has as it has pleased God to bless me in this life I dispose of the same in the following manner
Imprimis I give and bequeath unto my daughter Mary Cary the summe of one shilling of currant English money to be paid by my executor in six months after my decease
Item I give and bequeath unto my daughter Sarah Shepherd the summme of one shilling of currant English money to be paid by my executor in six months after my decease Item I give and bequeath unto my daughter Elizabeth Rimell the summe of one shilling of current English money to be paid by my executor in six months after my decease Item I give and bequeath unto my daughter Hannah Rimell the summe of one shilling of currant English money to be paid by my executor in six months after my decease Item I give and bequeath unto my son Anthony Rimell the summe of one shilling of currant English money to be paid by my executor when he shall come of age Item I give and bequeath unto my son James Rimell the summe of one shilling to be paid when he shall come of age Item all the rest and residue of my Goods and Chattels Bonds and Bills and Debts on Chattell called Wolhouse lying in the parish of Frome and two Chattells lying in the parish of Corsly called Trolops and Colses this with all others I give and bequeath unto my wife Mary Rimell whom I make constitute and ordaine to be my full and sole executor of this my last Will and Testament And I do desire and interate for my two sonn in laws Thomas Cary and Edward Shepherd to be overseers of this my last Will and Testament And for their care in the premises I do appoint and bequeath unto them the sum of one shilling apiece In witness for whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seale Anthony Rimell.
